High Art

Just thought you'd like yet another college poem. This one has a bit of a different flavor to it.

a merry monday
feasts of infinite surprise
dashingly, princes surmise
their swords to fall one day

a cordial tuesday
slowly, the field is won
slashingly, rivers, streams run
it was meet to rue the day

a hallowed wednesday
reckoned with ever barer leaves
misanthropic hang the eaves
drop upon us your golden ray

a fertile thursday
nonetheless partial to it's time
justice serves a light red wine
spoken has the green hay

a whimsical friday
mystified, entrenched in tears
ensconced with truth, these long years
suddenly there is an end.

If you can correctly interpret it, i'll take you out to La Hacienda when i get home.

Much thanks to thePrentice for pulling it out of his archives.
